Shaw limps off vs West Ham Ruled out for rest of the season Taylor tips Lionesses to step up WHAT HAPPENED?
Taylor has backed Lionesses trio Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly and Jess Park to fill the void left by the injury to Shaw.
The Jamaican is the current top goalscorer in the Women's Super League with 21 goals across her 18 appearances – outlining how much of a blow her absence will be to City in the final three games of the season.

Speaking after the news of the injury to Shaw emerged, Taylor said: "We've got, obviously, a bit of an issue with Bunny. She's sustained a foot injury which is going to keep her out of this game for certain, potentially longer.
"It's such a difficult one for Bunny because she's having an incredible season. We had a feeling there might be an issue when she came off the pitch, even though it was kind of a non-contact.
"She's been well looked after by the medical team and at this moment in time, we're unfortunately not going to have her for at least this game," he continued
"It brings a different challenge but I think what we have is some good options in there. We've got great attacking options. Of course, we have players who are playing slightly different positions, Bunny being the main No.9, we've had Mary play there, Lauren's played there, Chloe is capable of playing there, Jess Park could do a really good job there as well so it's not like we're really limited in that space.
"But of course, we all understand what Bunny brings. She's such a box player. It gives us a different kind of way of playing which I think is also a positive, a different type of No.9 being up there," he explained.
"We saw what Lauren did against West Ham earlier in the season, so you know what she can bring there. Chloe Kelly has played there a lot as well and has looked really good in training, so I think the signs are positive."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Shaw limped off during City's 5-0 win against West Ham United last weekend. Taylor initially thought the injury was a minor setback but it has now been confirmed that she will miss the remainder of the WSL season due to a foot problem.

Taylor's side could go six points clear of reigning champions Chelsea if they secure all three points against bottom-of-the-league Bristol City this weekend. However, Emma Hayes' side will hold two games in hand on City after the upcoming round of fixtures.
The game is set to kick-off on Sunday (April 28) at 6:45 pm UK time.
